12' Carbon Fiber gaff in three sections.

We offer it in 2 gaff hook sizes. 2" (kingfisher) and 3'" (wahooer).

This gaff is designed to reach out 12' outside the boat, gaff the fish and pull it back to the boat. Both the 2"and 3" have Winthrop Gaff Hooks feature a machined needle point and a unique profile for the best stiffness to shank diameter ratio. Made out of 316 stainless steel for corrosion resistance and toughness, our hook is proudly made in the USA.

2" HD  (kingfisher) – 5/16" diameter shaft has a 2" opening.
3" HD  (wahooer)--3/8" diameter shaft has a 3" opening.

This beautiful roll wrapped carbon fiber tubing is fabricated from unidirectional carbon fiber with a twill outer layer. The unidirectional layers are oriented to provide high bending stiffness and axial strength. The outer layer provides a bias support layer in addition to an attractive appearance. This product is ideal for building lightweight poles, and any other application where low weight and high stiffness are essential, yet appearance is also important.
