Meet the Captain

Captain Ron is a true Florida waterman with a lifetime of offshore experience. Raised in St. Petersburg, he grew up fishing the Gulf Coast and running charters during the summer months before turning his passion into a way of life.

After attending dive school, Ronnie spent 20 years traveling the world as a saturation diver and underwater welder — a career that demanded precision, discipline, and toughness. But no matter where work took him, offshore fishing was always home.

Today, Captain Ron brings decades of hands-on experience to every trip. He has landed 30+ swordfish (including a 376 lb. giant), 20+ blue marlin, and hundreds of yellowfin tuna and wahoo — with a personal best wahoo at 99 lbs. He’s still chasing that triple-digit wahoo and 500+ lb. swordfish, because for him, the hunt never stops.

Known for his calm confidence, strategic approach, and relentless drive to find fish, Captain Ron specializes in running and gunning for yellowfin, deep-dropping for swordfish, and high-speed trolling or live baiting for wahoo.
